Ok, before you environmentalists get the best of me, I know global warming is real and that the world is getting hotter by the minute due to carbon emissions, yada yada yada.
But, recently on the political level, it couldn't have been any colder. With Russia interfering in the Georgian war, recognizing the independence of two Georgian enclaves and the possible installation of a missile defense system in Poland and the Czech Republic by the US, tension, between the NATO on side and Russia on the other, is on the rise!
One asks, are we on the verge of a new Cold war here?
But am I the only one who thinks this is all insane?! I mean, at a time when the world is longing for more stability, is that what we actually need? To worry about a possible third World War? Which will be, mind you, the end of the world as we know it.
Utter nonsense. When will people realize this is not a joke!

What's even more ridiculous, are the videos on youtube surfacing up. Some people seem to be looking forward for such a catastrophic war. Casting votes on who they think would win, reds or blues, going as far as the comparison of the military capabilities of the two superpowers!
